Watching my niece and nephews

I was blessed with watching my sisters kids for a week in October. I was so nervous at first to watch them, but it turned out to be a good thing and I loved having them here. Steph and Brian got to go to a Vikings Game and they had so much fun!

Steph texted pics for the kids to see, they were excited to watch the Vikings on TV and know that there Mom, Dad/Aunt, Uncle were there.

Alek and Jacob watching the vikings game

Ummm, yeah, not sure what Vik was doing...

Maybe she was excited about the muffins we made. She did a great job!!

I did one side, she did the other, can you tell who did what side?

She was so excited! I am glad we did this together!

Viktoria and the bow she wanted to borrow.

David once in a while wanted to be held, he is so sweet and I love him soooo much!

And the Nintendo DS was really popular here!

Viktoria and Alyssah were so cute playing polly pockets, she said Alyssah is so spoiled and that her mom would NEVER buy all those things for her! LOL!!

Alek wasn't going to be left out of the girly fun! ;)

David fell asleep around 6pm, and I couldn't get him up. I was so worried that he was going to be up forever but he went right to bed when he was supposed to and never got up.

David and Alek being each others buddy. They are so cute!

Alek was pretty shy with me, but I still loved on him as much as I could!!
I am so glad I watched them, they were so sweet and I would do it again in a heartbeat!!

At the Park Fall of 2009

Since the weather was so awesome this fall we went to the park a lot. The kids really loved it, especially Alyssah! She would run from swing to slide to monkey bars and back to the swings. She loved it and I loved capturing it too!

Her adorable smile!!

Swinging!! These pictures were taken from my phone, so they aren't the best quality, but better than nothing.

Alyssah loved the monkey bars! She tries so hard at them, and of course she thinks she is so big doing them, but she has my help every time!

Alyssah and Berkely ready to go down the double slide. So fun!

Alyssah is going down the super fast slide!! If I weren't at the bottom ready to catch her she would fly right off!!

Jake and Josh on the swirly thingy. They are becoming such dare devils, I am not sure I like that either!

My handsome Jake

This park is at the school. (the other one is the city one) Jake and Alyssah got to play here after Alyssah's dance practice, while Josh was at guitar lessons.
Alyssah loves the slides!

So sweet! These two are always fighting, so it is nice to have them look so cute together.

Jake climbing the wall. After he got help, he did it all himself. And then kept doing it too!

Alyssah did this one all by herself. She didn't want any help at all!

Jake is so cute!

Alyssah is so cute too!

Decorating Pumpkins

This year I decided to just decorate our pumpkins instead of carving. The kids were thrilled to have there own decorating kit! We used the mr potato head ones. They were really cute!

Josh putting on his decorations. His is a skeleton.

Alyssah's is the witch. She was holding this, they were kinda hard to push in.

Jake had the pirate one. He did almost everything himself. We poked a hole with a screwdriver, it worked really good!

Dad, making his apperance before he left for Fargo. He helped Josh get another hole going.

Jake and his final product.

Alyssah and her witch, she was so proud!

Josh's skeleton, didn't these turn out cute! And way less messy than carving!

We desplayed them on my bench in the entry way.

So it seems

Winter might be here now. It has been snowing on and off all morning, and it is sooooo cold compared to yesterday and the rest of November. I don't mind snow, I mean we live in North Dakota, we have to take it, but I wished we would have had a better summer, then it wouldn't seem so cold.

I can't believe that it is almost Christmas. We put up our tree last night, without ornaments, it was getting late, and the kids really wanted to put them up, so I said we would when everyone leaves today. So we will be finishing the tree today. Then we will have all our christmas decor up. I am not sure why, but putting up the tree is not a fun time for me. I don't look forward to it, even though the kids TOTALLY LOVE putting it up. So I tolorate it, but I don't like it. I don't think I like change. And plus, every year, I have some one who is little weather it is my own or not. So this year is no different.

So I am going to have to continue to update my blog, and have a bunch of picture posts!
