Mark's Deer 2009

Mark shot his deer on November 8th. He got it on a sunday morning, after seeing almost no deer all weekend. He called me around 8am that morning saying he got it. I am so happy he did. He would have to have been gone the next weekend too, plus all week before because of meetings with his work. So I was happy.
Marks deer was really thick, not huge, but thick. We ended up getting alot of meat from it! And Mark kept its horns too.

The boys, especially Jake, were really excited to go hunting with Mark again. I don't think they were as excited to get the deer because they knew it was over then. But they had so much fun with Dad, he really enjoys taking them too.

Mark and his deer. Isn't he a handsome guy?? :)

Look at what mom can do!

Alyssah and I were goofing off in the chair one night. I kept saying lets go for a ride, and we would tip back some. Well one time it was too far. We kept going, and going, and going. Yup we tipped over. HAHA!! Alyssah would have been scared had I not been laughing sooooooo hard!! And what does Mark do instead of helping me up?? He takes pictures of me!! With my camera and my cell phone. He is too funny!

Tipped over

I was laughing so hard! Alyssah already got up, I couldn't yet, I needed Marks help, thank God he was there, who knows how long I would have been there!!!

And this was my view! I laughed so hard! I guess we all have our moments!

Halloween 2009

Halloween was so fun here this year. Alyssah was excited so much! And we didn't pay a million dollars for there costumes either, so that is a bonus for us!

Princess Anneliese, I got her dress off of Ebay for $12 new. Already had the crown, so it worked out great!

Hunter Jake, we have all the hunting stuff here, so we didn't have to buy anything. Don't you love his gotee??

Scary man Josh, all we had to buy for him was the mask, and the knife, $14 total.

The smile here is great!!!

Josh loved this mask, he tried it on in front of my daycare kids, and that didn't go over so well. They were all freaked out. And he felt really bad too.

The 3 trick or treaters!!

At the city autitorium, they put on a free thing, that has games and prizes for everyone. The kids always love going there. Jake is playing a fishing game. They don't hand out candy here, which is nice, since they get so much anyways.

Alyssah was so excited to get her prize. She got a trick lipsick, which looks like it would go on clear, it starts out clear and before you know it, your lips are bright red. Ummm, yeah, I tried it, my lips were dry, it wasn't pretty!

Big brother Josh, always willing to help out little Alyssah, he is so good to her. They were doing a cake walk type game, they got cupcakes and other treats. All 3 of the kids won something. After they did we sat down and had hot dogs, and the treats.

Jake playing a golfing type game.

And a tick tack toe toss game.

This guy was out by the front door, Alyssah was a little unsure, but then she shook his hand.

Jake was just going to shoot them!

Josh had no fear!

Time for trick or treating! It was pretty nice out, the wind went down, so at least we could handle it!

So excited to go!

I was disappointed the pic was blurry, but I was in the street and had to hurry up, this house was so cool how fancy it looked. There was a skeleton that hoped up on the porch, no one got scared either!

How to transform a girl to a princess

Alyssah was Princess Anneliese for Halloween. She is a barbie character. And Alyssah was so excited to be her for Halloween! So we had to show her documentation of how she was transformed!

Of course every Princess takes a luxurious bubble bath before any big party.

And has to get her nails all prettied up too.

And she had to prepare herself on how to act as Anneliese too. (this is the movie Princess and the Pauper, the one Princess Anneliese is in)

And I am sure being cute is part of the deal too.

Princess Anneliese is going to get her hair done up all pretty now.

The transformation is taking form...

She is so beautiful! Princess or not!

Her hair is almost done!

The finished product. She is so beautiful!

And of course this is how all princesses put on there shoes right??

Alyssah, I mean Princess Anneliese :)

Carving Pumpkins

Nicole talked me into carving pumpkins one evening before Halloween. I wasn't going to, but I did, because the kids begged me! HAHA!! They had a blast, I let them carve them all out themselves! And they were grateful and had a good time.

Skyla she had a lot of pumpkins to carve, she loved doing all of them!

And the guts didn't bother Jake at all.

Josh was more than excited to carve his pumpkin. He loves anything to do with carving, after all he is a cubscout!! Those were his words.

And the little princess and she was just that, a princess. She wouldn't touch the guts, but she had so much fun being with everyone, and she loved her pumpkin.

The crew working hard!

And of course Nicole and I roasted pumpkin seeds. They were so good, and we wished we had more. It was so fun hanging out with her and Skyla.

The kids and the pumpkin line up. They were so cute!

Josh and his Superman S! And he carved 4 sides of his pumpkin. He was fun.

Alyssah and her pumpkin, Josh carved this one too.

Jacob and his 2 pumpkins, he did one at a cub scouts with his troop leader. He was so proud of it too!

Skyla and all her pumpkins. She loved having this many!
