On July 19th we went to the Minot Air Base for there Northern Neighbors Day air show. It was so much fun. The kids were very excited to go, and to go through the planes. It turned out to be a BEAUTIFUL day. It was a little hot, because we were on cement, and under no shade. So the kids (Josh) sometimes complained about that.
The yellow plane. Josh loved this one, and wanted to walk through it, but they were getting ready to move it, so we couldn't.
They did get to sit in a little plane, they were shy at first, but they thought it was cool to be in a plane. I joked with the guy that he needs to check everything out, just in case if the kids touched something, I said that they tend to brake things unintentionally. But of course I was joking. :)

We walked through a hugh fueling jet. The kids loved walking all the way to the back. It was so hot in there, like an oven!
Alyssah sitting on the towel, not to interested in the planes, she really didn't care for them all that much. Now if there had been princesses flying them, maybe she would have had more interest! HAHA! But she enjoyed her snack anyways.
One of the trick planes flying, it was flying side ways. Jake really like the trick planes, he thougth they were the best part of the whole show. Good thing they showed them often.
A big B52 Bomber
A world war 2 fighter plane. They were very loud, and I imagine back in the 1940's having 50 or more of them coming at you, you would definately know it!
A stealth bomber. This one was so quiet, and at some angles you can only see a bump and a line, they are very hard to see.
Two trick planes
Mark got this with his good camera. It was so neat to see them cross like that in front of us.
Another fighter jet. This one was really quiet, until it takes off, then it is really loud.
The 3 kids
They had the fighter jumpers too. They were really neat to see. When they jump, they are 2 miles up, and fall at 120 miles per hour. They had a target to land on that wasn't very big and they all did!
Getting ready to land.
Landed! On the target.
Once the jet took off, it was gone for a little while. Pretty soon people started pointing at the sky and saying it was coming. Before we knew it it flew right over us, completely silent. About 2 seconds later it was sooooo loud! Alyssah didn't really get scared, she covered her ears and kept them covered the whole time.
