This is our first day touring!! We are taking the metro (subway) for the first time. We think it's pretty easy to navigate, so that is good.
Alyssah was pretty excited!!
So were the boys :)
We went to the smithsonian. Our first museum was the air and space museum. The kids were very excited to be there. All the planes and jets hanging from the ceiling were really cool :)
We went to 2 movies there, the planitarium, and an IMAX movie too. Both were pretty good :)
The Wright Brothers plane, the real thing! The boys were really excited about it!
After the air and space museum we went to the Museum of Natural History. That one was really good!! I am very impressed with it :) The dinosaur bones were really good too!
It was so hot out there!! 90+ temps and high humidity too. So the kids are really shiny :)
While we were there a bad storm came through, I guess one guy died even. But we didn't even know how bad it was, it was pretty sound proof in there.
We were waiting to go find a place to eat. And for the rain to stop too.
We went to the hard rock cafe! Alyssah was happy to have diet coke like me :)
Jake was happy to eat lol
And Josh just being happy :)
Today was a busy day, but I think this whole week will be busy too!!
