The elementary school caught on fire March 27th. It first was suspected that it was an electrical fire, but it was later found out to be a child in 4th grade who was playing with matches. He ended up being suspended for the rest of the year. It happened after school was out, so only the staff and a handful of students who were doing homework help were in the building. This could have been so much worse. Jake was one of the students working on homework. I am glad everything ended up being ok!

Playing with matches during homework help, caused that damage to school properties. Small mistakes/ carelessness is the cause of much of these disasters. Really glad that nobody was hurt.
