This year we did the Christmas Operation Child boxes. The kids were excited to get stuff for other kids who without this would probably get nothing. And of course we waited until the last possible minute to do these too. But they were happy none the less.

And sweet Alyssah had one for a girl. She thought she was going to keep the stuff. So when she found out, she was disappointed, but we told her someone was going to be very happy to get this, because they probably wouldn't get it otherwise. I wished we could have done more for other kids who get nothing, it makes me so sad when I think about my kids getting what they could ever want, and some child out there getting nothing. Next year we are going to do more.
