We are back!!

We are tired and exhausted, but it was fun!!! Alyssah sure likes a schedule, she was crabby for most of the time, sometimes happy. Mark even commented on how he already feels sorry for her future husband!!! HAHAHA!! I will post pictures tomorrow.

Leaving tomorrow

We are leaving by 7 am to go to The Black Hills in SD. I am so excited to go, so are the kids. We plan on going to Devils Tower first in Wyoming first. It is a 7 hour drive or so, so it will be interesting with the kids. On Saturday we are taking an old train ride and going to Mt. Rushmoore. On Sunday we are doing a bunch of sightseeing and museums I am sure, of course some shopping too. Then Monday head home. Jake I am sure will sleep, and Alyssah and Josh will just be content with each other. We have been counting down to this day for about a month or so. I will post pictures on Monday when we get back!!

I got so much done today!

I cleaned my house and did ALL of my laundry! I feel like I got so much done! I am happy that I did. I was in a huge rut this morning. I didn't want to do anything. The kids wanted to go to the pool today so bad, but I felt so awful, that we didn't go. So after a short nap, I got so much done!! I did the laundry, the dishes, swept and cleaned my floor, picked up Alyssah's room, rearanged my room some, put away things that I want to sell on ebay, cleaned up the livingroom and cleaned up the basement. I feel so much better now, and I wished the pool was open now, I would so take the kids! ;)

Beautiful Weather

We have had such beautiful weather the last few days around here. I love it. Today we took the kids to the pool. They had so much fun! I forgot my camera but I know we will be back again shortly. Probably tomorrow.

Today the temperatures got up to around 80 degrees. The kids all look sunkissed and are loving the sun. Alyssah loved the pool, she is like a little fish! The boys of course jumped right in and stayed in as long as they could. I hope we have some more hot days for a while! I love summer!!

Fathers Day

The kids and I made toast and cereal for dad on Fathers Day. They were so excited to surprise him. We yelled out "Happy Father's Day" when he came around the corner, the kids were excited to see what dad thought. He of course loved it!!

A fun day on Saturday! (LOTS OF PICS!!)

We went to the Heritage Museum in Bismarck and to the Dakota Zoo on Saturday June14th. We all had so much fun! Even Alyssah did well without a nap. The boys of course just loved it! It was a great day to spend together as a family.
The boys Jake-5 and Josh-8
They had a great day!
The big mammoth bones. Everything in this museum was found in North Dakota. These bones were found in the badlands, southwestern North Dakota. It was huge!!

Alyssah pointing at the buffalo. She kept saying cow.

Jake in a rush to get to the next place. He was in a hurry the whole time we were there.

The three kids on a wooden horse. Alyssah didn't want to be there, but I made them all sit there, and nobody really looked either. I tried.

This was an overview look at the Heritage Museum. The kids loved seeing things from the top!

Of course we have to get these goofy pics of the kids in these signs. Someday they will say how we always did that, I did as a kid!! I look back and think of what a dork I was though!! ;)

Alyssah was watching the otters swimming. It was sweet how she kept calling them kitties!! I loved it!!

Alyssah was afraid of the bear. She kept saying "scared" over and over. I like this bear, it was cute and reminded me of our dog, Ally. Ally loves chewing on bark too.
This mountain lion was pacing all over its cage. I was glad there were glass between us. The male looked really upset at the females in the cage.

The beautiful Peacock. It was trying to impress some lady birds in the cage.

Josh had a lot of fun too. He loved the train ride and wished it would have lasted longer. He really like the wolves and foxes. Also the bears. He carried around a map, being our navigator.

Jake loved the ride. He was in a hurry the whole day, running from place to place and never with us. A couple of times he took off and we were wondering where he was. He would come running back and telling us how cool the next animal was, he just couldn't wait for us to get there!!

Alyssah on the train ride. Doesn't she look thrilled?? This is our drama queen.

The boys loved feeding the goats. I bet the Zoo hardly has to feed these animals. They come running as soon as you put your money in to get the corn. Alyssah wanted nothing to do with the animals. I know she was scared of them.

We had the best day! After the museum and zoo, we went to eat at Famous Daves. It was good, the kids were good, over all the day was an A++!!

We bought a treadmill!!

I am sooo happy we did! I love it a lot so far! I hope to keep working out and lose some weight. I need too, I don't like how I am anymore. So hopefully sometime soon I can put that I have lost some weight and that I am feeling great!

Plus we got the treadmill for really cheap! We got the one on display at Sears and it wasn't in a box, but we didn't have to put it together. I am really glad we got the one we got.

Lesson Planning

I am doing a bunch of preschool lesson plans. I plan on doing preschool themes this fall with the daycare kids. I am having a ton of fun making them up and I can't wait to try them out on the kids. Alyssah will be 2 1/2 then, and she will have fun learning too. I am going to try to get all of Sept, Oct and Nov done by August, so that I will be ready to start. I am excited!

We went for a boat ride!!

We had fun when we went out in the boat. We went out June 1st and this was Alyssah's first time in the boat. She didn't like going fast, but when we were barely moving, she was really happy. She loves her Dora fishing pole! We bought one that floats and we are so glad we did!! She through it in the lake right after she got it out. She was so funny and like looking at Daddy through the wind shield. Josh and Jake had fun too and wanted Dad to fish, but storm clouds were coming and we had to get in.

Kite Festival Pictures

The kids had a blast!! Josh got another kite, his first one wasn't working out in the wind, so the kite you see is the one he has now. He loves it too. This day was cold, but turned out to be pretty nice, hopefully next year will be warmer.
