And of course

My laptop probably has a virus again. I am so sad about it. Mark has been so busy with the yard and all, I am not sure when he will get time to work on it again. I am sad, but I am not bugging him to fix it. He is busy right now.

Not much new going on, we were going to go to the pumpkin patch today, but again, Mark has stuff to do around the yard, so we aren't going. I am sad about it, today is so nice, but I can't complain, we are getting our yard done. I am going to try to get some pictures today, and hopefully put them up, can't promise though. I have trouble on my desk top getting pictures up, but I will try. And that is another thing, I am unsure again, if I will be able to get my pictures off of my lap top. I even bought a portable hard drive to be able to take off all of my pics to put on there, and I never did. Mark and I talked about doing an online backup system, but of course we never did. I guess I didn't learn my lesson hard enough last time to do all those things badly enough. I guess right now I am not worried about it, I really hope we can save my computer this time, I am so frustrated from it, but it is my fault.

So, say a prayer that my pics are saved, and that my computer gets fixed sooner than later, and that it doesn't snow too soon. :)

Sting bugs

Alyssah got stung by a bee on Tuesday. Poor little lady! She is now officially afraid of bees too. She was in the house and told me a secret that the fly in here isn't a sting bug. How cute and sad at the same time. I hate that she has to be afriad of them.

This is where her the bee stung her. You can see the welt on her arm. Thankfully she didn't swell up too bad. She cried right away, but then was fine.

For Josh's music class we had to buy him a recorder. Yes, he now has a recorder, that he LOVES!! Not us so much. He plays it all the time now too. One time he did 2 different tones, and said that it sounded like a fire truck siren. He then said, "I bet this is what they used to make the sound of a siren, before sirens were invented" Oh Lord child. I have him play it downstairs, but sometimes he will go outside and play. Poor neighbors.

Here he is with is new found joy!! :)

And playing. He really loves it! And again, me not so much.

I hate allergies

I have been feeling so awful lately. My allergies have been really bad. I take Zyrtec daily, but I am starting to think that it isn't working. I took 2 benedryl last night in hopes to fall asleep and get some relief, but it did the opposite. I was wide awake and so uncomfortable. I am soooo tired today. And of course when I started to calm down around 3:30 last night, then I heard thunder. OF COURSE! So we ended up with one kid in the room, and with me and hardly any sleep. Thank God I only have little ones here, so I hopefully can get in a little nap when all the kids nap. Even a short nap will help. I know I will be going to bed early tonight, and maybe I will take some Nyquil, and maybe get some rest. One can only hope.

I have some more posts to make, so I might take some time and do that today, if I am feeling better. I am so thankful that the boys are in school, no fighting and arguing right now. And that makes me really glad. :)

Jacob's B-Day

Ok, these pictures took FOREVER to upload, so I am soooo happy that it is all done!! Jake turned 7 on August 25th! He was sooooo excited to be bigger! I kept telling him that I am not letting him turn older, but he knows better. Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Dave came up to visit and they brought a cake for Jake to have! We all enjoyed it too! They got him a Star Wars cake, and he was thrilled! This turned out to be one of FOUR party's that he had!! I feel like his birthday won't end! :)

Jake posing by his cake, he had 7 candles on it, and I took 2 out, and he knew it! He will not let me keep him little!! I guess I have no choice but to let him grow.

Jake ready to open up his presents from Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Dave. We also got him one little thing to open up too.

And of course he got some money!! That is the best!!!

Grandma and Grandpa got him a nice batman shirt and some jeans! He really needed them! Dad and I got him a batman movie, which turned out to be SO DUMB! But he loved it that is all that mattered!

The Batman Movie! We ended up watching it in French for a while. The boys didn't figure it out for a long time! It was hilarious!! ;)

Then on his actual birthday we got him some Lego City legos! He has the ocean rescue ones. He has the whole set now too. He was excited to get it! I got them off of ebay, so I ended up not spending as much as I would have had I bought them in the store. He loves to build things with his legos!

Opening up the big set. I love there expressions! Alyssah is just as excited as Jake is!!

Josh and Jake looking at the whole set! Josh loves to help him build it, so it was fun for him too.

This is a really nice picture of Jake! He usually has a very cheesy smile, and it doesn't always work out for him! But this was a really nice smile!

Still excited and looking over the new toys!

And poor Josh. It is still hard when someone else is having a birthday with presents and you aren't. But he was good, and didn't complain, he just looks so sad! Good thing his birthday isn't far away!

Alyssah's first day of pre-school

Alyssah started pre-school on August 24th! She was so excited to go! She thought the first day she was going to go on the bus, but I took her. The boys saw where they take her when she does ride the bus. She looked so cute in her little outfit! And she wanted just a pony tail in her hair.

Posing by the door like the big kids do.

So pretty! I can't believe she is old enough to go to school!!

Her posing with her pretty dress!

She had to make a place mat for school, she wanted princess stickers all over it. She is so proud of her place mat!

Alyssah is walking into school and proud and confident. I am nervous and hoping I don't cry, sending my baby to school for the first time! She loves her princess "pack-pack" that is too big for her, but she is so proud that she has it. She even has a princess folder in it.

Standing by her coat hook. She was excited to go into class!

She walked right in, and went right to the doll house they have there. I told her I wanted a picture and she produced this cute cheese for me! Then I told her I was going to go, and I will be back to pick her up. She said "Bye Mom!" And gave me a kiss and then went back and played. So easy!! I was a little worried that she would cry since she hasn't been away from me much, but she did just fine!! I am so glad she did, it would have been really hard on me. And as for me, I didn't cry, I had tears in my eyes, but I was fine. I came home and counted the minutes until I could go get her! She was excited to see me. Her teacher's helper came and told me that she cried when they went out to the playground, they all had to line up and she didn't want to, so she started crying. They said she asked for me, and then pretty soon she went off and played. I was happy to hear that she didn't cry for long. She told me later that she just wanted to play "at the park" and they said no. I am sure she looked at them when they told her she had to line up first like "how could you tell the princess no?" To cute! I am glad she had a good first day! And since then, she has had all good days, and she LOVES to ride the bus!!
