Winter in October???

We had 2 inches of snow in early october. We didn't even have snow boots for the kids yet. They wore rain boots to school! But they were so excited for the snow! I was worried it was going to be here to stay! But it wasn't thank God!! The kids loved it, and by noon the snow was all gone.

Josh's Birthday Celebrations

Josh had several birthday celebrations for his 10th birthday! I can't believe he is 10. TEN! Where on earth has the time gone? I love him so much! And I am so glad he is growing up to be such a young man!

Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Dave came up and helped celebrate his birthday, and they brought an awesome donut cake. They gave Josh 30 dollars (I think) and he was thrilled!!

Cub Scouts

Josh and Jake like to help out with cub scouts. They take there jobs very seriously. This day they helped out the town, by doing some clean up jobs. A lot of the scouts showed up to help. They took the stuff to the dump and then they raked leaves too.

Raking leaves for some town people

He was an older gentleman who was in cub scouts as a boy and he told about what he did back when he was young. Josh was really interested.

They made bird houses too later in the week.
