Fishing, and this time we have caught some!

Mark finally caught some fish!! YAY!! Josh, Jake and Isaac caught some too, but Mark was so excited to finally catch some! We have had some too, and they are soooo good!!

Josh and Jake the next day, with there catch. They were so excited to get these. I am glad they finally got some. The lake has been up and people are finally starting to catch some fish!

Boy's First Day of School

Josh and Jake started school on August 20th. Josh is going into the 4th grade and Jake into first. They were very excited to go, but Josh said he was super nervous too.

All in all, they had a good first day, and so far so good with school. They both really like it!

Josh's Mohawk

Josh loved getting a mohawk this summer. He wanted one for the summer and we let him. Nicole has pink hair gel, so he got to have that, and we kept that in for a couple of days. He was so proud of his mohawk. Pink and all!! ;)

He was bummed to get it cut, but with school starting, we had too. I kinda miss the mohawk, so maybe we will do it again next summer.

Alyssah's Messy Room

Alyssah can do some serious damage to her room with toys. She doesn't know how to clean up when she makes such a mess, she gets overwhelmed with putting things away. This is something I have to help her work on. Her face in this picture is priceless though! I love it! She looks like she got caught doing something bad! And I also love the cabbage patch doll mooning everyone!!! HAHA!

Minot State Fair

Not sure what is going on, but my blog is retarded right now. Anyways...

These 2 pictures, show the HUGE line to the fair grounds. We waited 1 hour and 40 minutes to go 3 miles. Did we think it was worth it? Well the kids sure did!





More lines, we waited for about 30 minutes to get into the fair grounds. And it was hot out.











Kids on the tractor, they loved being able to go in one, they have never been in one. And who needs a double stroller when 2 cuties can sit in one! HAHA! They were so cute, and they didn't mind being in it either!

All the cousins, Viktoria, David, Josh, Alyssah, Jacob, and Alek. They were getting hot, and wanted to into the bunny barn. Steph and Brian, so cute!

Riding the rides! They LOVED it! We only did a few rides this year, we plan on getting wrist bands next year though. We felt bad for the bigger kids, who only got to ride 2 or 3 rides each.

On a roller coaster, the kids all loved it!! David and Alyssah couldn't go on this one, so Josh and Viktoria went with Jake and Alek.

Of course the best part of the fair is the food!! We all got something completely different, and we waited in line again, but for the food it was worth it!! Mark got a huge turkey leg, and it was so good! We also got some fried oreo cookies, and a fried twinkie too. They were really good!

David was mad, so we told Alyssah to show her mad face too, and she did!! She wasn't mad here, right after wards, she was giggling!

The swing ride! Josh was nervous! They had plans to ride together, but it didn't happen. Josh told me that right when it started, he wanted to get off, but then he ended up loving it!

Alyssah fell asleep too, with her sunglasses on. She is so funny!!

Going to the fair is such hard work, but it is usually so fun for the kids. I am sure we will end up going once a year for a while!

I am behind in my posts. I am going to make it up, and get going! HAHA!! I have a lot of picture posts now, so I will start, and hopefully get caught up again! :)

First day of school

The boys went to school today! They were super excited but nervous. They both came home and said they had a great day. Jake was excited to finally be in first grade, because he was held back. That is what he tells everyone. Josh was embarrassed that I took pictures of him before school, he didn't want me in the class taking pictures. I didn't mind, I got one, and that is what I asked for. Jake gave me a big hug and he was off. Of course Alyssah thinks she should have gone today too. But she will start on Monday. I enjoyed my day off SOOOOOO MUCH!! I am sooo happy that now I will only have little kids until after school. I work so much better with the little ones!

The Beach

The lake is up FINALLY!! So Stephanie, Nicole and I took our kids to the beach. They were all soooo excited to go! We went and it was nice out, around 80-85 so it was perfect weather.

She had to pee, so we all told her to go the lake and go, she couldn't understand that she needed to get into the lake to go, so she thought she would just pull her swimsuit bottoms down, and go there. She never did go, she held it until we got home. But it was so cute!

Alek and Alyssah, she never really went into the lake. But she loved the idea of it. They all had a lot of fun that afternoon/evening. I am glad they got to go. Especially because this summer hasn't been that great with the weather.

Alyssah's new room colors

We finally painted Alyssah's room! While the painter was here painting the movie room downstairs, we had him paint Alyssah's room! And I just love it! She calls it her "Pink Princess Room" (of course it is princess something ;)) She loves it so much, and so do I! Enjoy!
