Alyssah's Sleep Over

Alyssah and her friend Kenzy had a fun sleepover!  They were looking forward to it for days!  They couldn't wait for friday night!

 



 

Starting to play, a lot!  They were little chatterboxes!

 

They had fun dressing up there Julie dolls!  And doing there hair too.

They wanted a fort to sleep in, so I helped them make one.  They were pretty excited about this!

 

Happy girls, who had so much fun!  And stayed up way to late, but it was worth it to them!!

Bow Hunting!

Josh got the chance to go bow hunting for deer with our neighbor.  He was SO excited! Jake went with and they couldn't wait to go.

Josh pulling the bow.  He shot the deer, but he didn't get it.  He only injured it and it got away.  I am proud he tried though!  He was too!  They haven't been out since, but they will go again!

Football Practice

Jake is really liking football!!  I am glad he likes it!  I am so glad someone started doing grade school football for us here in town.  This is done through YMCA in Minot.  The boys love it!

 

They were practicing tackling.  It is hard for them to get the idea to take them down.  But they are trying!  Jake is the one in the blue shorts

Target Shooting

Josh gets to go hunting with our neighbor, Aaron.  He is supposed to be practicing, and he is going a pretty good job at it!  I am so glad!  I am glad he is enjoying it!

Alyssah's First Dance

Alyssah signed up for a hip hop dance class, that lasts a week.  She had fun!  I am glad she got to do it!  I think she is getting pretty good at it too!

Josh Got a Cell Phone!

Josh was so surprised when we handed him his present for his birthday.  His birthday is 2 months away yet!  We think he'll be so excited!

A cell phone of his very own!!!  He was so excited about it!!  FINALLY!  He was the only one in his class that didn't have one!!  Now he does :)

Jake's Birthday

Mark and I bought Jake his 22 gun!  He was so excited!  He kinda knew what he was going to get, but we wrapped it all up anyways!  He opened all the little presents first!

First Day of School

The first day of school came quick this summer!  The kids were excited and nervous the first day!  I can't believe I have a kid in Jr. High!!

 

 We went to his school the day before it started to get his locker figured out.  He had a little trouble, and was nervous, but we got it and then we walked around to all of his classes.  He seemed better after we did that.  I am glad we did!

 

 

 Behind this smile was a ball of nerves!  I remember being nervous too!  But he made it through!

 Dropping Josh off, hard times for me!!  I was suprised at how I felt sad that he was going to 7th grade!  My little guy is not so little!

 

 

 Off to Alyssah's class!  She is so big too!  FIRST GRADE!!!  She was excited as can be though!  I am glad, I don't think I could have handled her being sad!

There first day was a success!!  Josh was relieved that the first day was over and he was looking forward to the next day.  Alyssah and Jake were also just as excited to go back the next day too!
