This year the boys needed valentines boxes for school. I am not excited about making them, but we did anyways, and I found this idea online for making there valentine boxes. Alyssah made hers at school this year.

All taped together, ready to be wrapped.

Jacobs box

Josh's box

All 3 of them

And of course my littlest valentine! I found this shirt on etsy.com and I had the leggings and tutu from Christmas, so it was a cute little outfit!

She was excited her name was on the shirt!

New York day five 2-7-11

This is our final day here. We fly out at 2:22 pm. So we took our time getting ready and then went to eat breakfast. Then we went upstairs and got our stuff and left. I was sad to leave.

Our last time looking out

This is where we ate breakfast every morning. We had full breakfasts, and they were very good too!

Crossing a bridge on our way to the airport. I thought it looked neat!

Up we go!

Good bye New York! My favorite new city!

Going home, the sky looked so blue! Very pretty!

New York, day four 2-6-11

This day we got to take a walking tour of the city with a man who also takes pictures of us as well. This was one of Marks surprises too. I loved it!

Times square. It never gets old!

In New York, they pay to put signs up on buildings.

Going on the subway for the first time! I was really excited!!

We had an old train, but it did its job just fine!

In Central Park

A famous hotel, that is now apartments.

A bunch of pigions hanging out!

We saw a saxaphone player in the park. Mark gave him money too. He was really good!

The Central Park Zoo. We didn't go in, but we heard it was a small little zoo.

There are tall buildings all around Central Park, it is really cool!

The Brooklyn Bridge

A cute little park.

Brown Stone buildings, they are houses that are about 12-20 feet across, but are about 85 feet long. Then you have 4 to 5 floor too! They go for over a million usually. I think they are really cool! I wished we could have seen one!

After our tour with the guy, we took the subway by ourselves, to Ground Zero. St. Pauls Church is a very old church. It was built in 1766 and was never hurt when the World Trade Towers went down. Not even one window was broken at all. It was amazing to see! (the church was right across the street from the towers)

Insided the church was a memorial to the people who lost there lives. Someone made this cross out of the rubble from the towers and gave it to the church.

Some memorial of the people who lost there lives.

They still have church services there too.

The volunteers would sleep in the pews, and on cots around the clock for about 7 months afterwards. To be in the building was so surreal! I felt sadness, but also felt peace being in there too. I totally believe that the church was left unharmed for a reason.

The cemetary behind the church. There are headstones of people who faught in the Revolutionary War! So old! But it was really cool to see!

And ground Zero. It is all cleaned up, but they are making a memorial where the towers were. They are also making Freedom Tower, in place of the Twin Towers. The Freedom Tower will be 1776 feet tall, that is the year we all became free. Once it is built it will be the tallest building in New York again.

Freedom Tower will be done in 2013 or so.

We went to a free museum that had some things about 9/11 and also what was going to be there in the future as well.

What it will all look like when the whole project is done.

Another view of St. Pauls Church.

When we were done, we went and ate at a cute place. They were getting ready for the Super Bowl. Mark had a pulled pork sandwhich, and I ate french onion soup and calamari. It was really good!

Our hotel, the Hilton Garden Inn

The diner we ate at the night before.

Going to see our last play! We were really excited to see it!

Inside the theater

It was really pretty in there!

Us, waiting for it to start.

Our last night there! We ate out again, this time having steak. It was really good! All the food we ate was really good!
