Alyssah's big girl bed

Goodbye crib! We moved Alyssah to a big girl bed on September 26th. She was so happy to have a big girl bed. She was so willing to help too.

Posing with her crib. Goodbye Crib!
Of course Jake and Josh had to help. They love it when dad fixes stuff. Especially when he uses tools!

Working together!
Getting it all lined up together.
All done! Alyssah loves her bed!! I bought the bedding at Target and she loved it!! I need to find things to hang on the walls, and I plan on painting it pink, yellow and light green, but not until after January sometime.

I love her room!

Nigh night sweetie! She cried for a few minutes after we shut the door, but then she calmed down and slept good. She was so cute when she woke up, she comes running out of her room, and says, "I waked up, Mommy!" I just love it!

She was so cute sleeping, and she looked so cozy!

My babies

My babies. They are growing way too fast! I wish I could keep them little for a while longer. Before I know it, they will be off to college and I will be alone. (I guess, that might not be so bad ;))
In each of these pictures, they are all only a few days old. I remember when each one of these pictures were taken, like it was yesterday. Amazing how fast time goes by.

House work

Why is it when I don't clean for a few days, it looks like a tornado has hit the house? I had this place looking really good on Saturday, and now today it looks horrible! I have SOOOOOOOOO much laundry to do, I have to get some of it done tomorrow, or we are going to start running out of clothes. I have to clean my bathrooms, and my kitchen too. I really wished I could afford a house keeper, to come in and clean my house 2 times a week. That would help so much. Oh well, its not like I am going to go and clean right now anyways. It is time for bed. Plus I know that tornado will come back through anyways. Why do I bother?

Our 12 Anniversary

12 years ago I married my best friend. I have had the best 12 years of my life with him. I can't imagine my life without him at all.

Mark has been the best husband I could ask for. He is my best friend, the love of my life and a great dad to my kids. I am so lucky to have him for my husband.

Happy Anniversary Mark!

Potty Training

Alyssah has been doing soooooo well with potty training. She basically has trained herself. She loves to wear dora panties and princess panties, so wearing a diaper isn't fun anymore. She is trained in the daytime, except for naps, sometimes she will pee, sometimes she doesn't. At night she does, but I don't expect her to be fully trained yet. She is doing soooo well. I am so proud of her!
