He is really proud of what he bought! I am too, he worked hard all summer mowing lawns! What a great accomplishment, to be able to buy your own things! He is proud!! :)

Jake turned 9!! I can't believe it! We got him some Lego sets, and he was really excited to get them!

My prince, laid back boy...

My pizza lover, homework hater, well, I think you get it ;)

Jake, you are an amazing kid!! I can't believe how fast you are growing, it just seems like you were my little 2 year old, playing so seriously :)


You can be SO funny or SO serious. I love your humor, you are a VERY loveable kid :)


So things that you are doing that I want to remember:

You still love legos, but you only like to build the sets, not play with them.

You love food!! BUT, only pizza, cheese noodles, cheese burgers and cottage cheese. You WILL NOT try anything new, you are very picky.

You want to be a taxidermist when you grow up. You have since kindergarten, and I truly believe you will be one :) (and you say you are going to build a house in our back yard, I'm thinking that won't happen ;))

You hate reading. I love it, so I can't understand how you don't like it, but you don't.

You LOVE doing anything with your dad!! Hunting, fishing, mowing, fixing, you love it all as long as your dad is with you!! And I love it!!

Your best friends right now are Zach Seidler and Matthew Norgenberg.

You have a summer/fall job of mowing lawns. You have saved enough money to buy a remote controlled monster truck!! And you love it!!

You hang out with Josh a lot!! I'm so glad you have your brother to hang out with :)

You don't like to clean much but you will help out, but only if I ask. :)

Jake, we love you so much!! I can't believe you have grown so much!! And I cant wait to see you grow into a young man!!

15 years :)

Marriage isn't easy. In fact marriage is so hard. But I'm so glad I get to spend these "hard" years with you :)

I love you Mark so much! I am blessed beyond what I ever thought possible. Thank you for the last 15 years, and I look forward to many more years!

My Princess, Diva, Boss, Drama Queen

Well, you get the idea :)

I thought I would do a post on each of my kids, on what they are into, and such :)

Alyssah, you are 5!! Time has gone by so fast, I can't even believe it!! You are in Kindergarten, and you love it!! You are soaking up everything and I'm so proud of you. You LOVE to write out letters and you ask me what you have spelled. It's cute to see your confusion when I say it spells nothing :) I love how awesome you are at writing your name.




You LOVE/THRIVE on drama :) The more drama the better!! I am annoyed by it sometimes, but you are who you are :) If there is drama you are right there!!




Oh my dear, you are a funny girl too!! I love that part of you, I love when you try to trick us by giving us an empty gum wrapper and your giggle is the best!! Or when you clean your room and you trick your dad into thinking it's still messy :) We love that about you!



You have brought soooooo much joy to our lives!

You love dance, you would perform all the time if you could.

You LOVE going with me to Taekwando and playing with your friends. It is the best time for you!! :)

Playing with Kenzie next door is also a favorite past time that you love!

You love Molly to pieces!! You would carry her EVERYWHERE if we would let you! It drives us crazy, but you can't help it :)

Playing with your daycare friends is so much fun!! You would love to have them in your room, but you keep your room so messy, it's hard to play in there!

You are THE MESSIEST GIRL I KNOW!! You hate to clean, and when your room is to messy, you are way overwhelmed to clean it!

You love poptarts, noodles of any kind, pizza ALL sweets, and you will try anything once. You are a good eater :)

You will argue ANYTHING. Even if you are wrong! But it's so who you are.

You love all things princess or doll like. You play for hours in your room with Barbies, Polly pockets, and pet shop toys. I love your imagination!

I am sure there is more, but I can't think of anything else!

You are our joy and our favorite girl of all!

My new ink :)

My two besties and I went to Bismarck and we got tattoos!! We were very excited too!! I am glad we did and none of us has any regrets! :)

She got one on her wrist too, it reads, Give Life, Give Thanks.





Now it's my turn, and it HURT!!


But worth it!! The 3 flowers are my kids, and I love them so much!!

Josh's new shot gun!

Josh worked soooo hard all summer, mowing lawns, so earn this!! He loves it and is so proud! I am happy he is working for something!

Jake's 9th Birthday!

Jake had a low key birthday this year. He got his presents from us, and then he had (about 2 weeks later) a sleepover with 2 boys from his class. He had fun! (of course I didn't take any pictures of that!! grrr)

The kids first days of school

Josh and Jake started school on August 22. They were super excited! And SO WAS I!! :)

I can't believe they are in 3rd and 6th grade already!! So crazy how time flies!

Alyssah started school on Tuesday the 23rd. She was SO EXCITED!! She is a big Kindergartener!! I can't believe she is so big already!! Crazy how fast time goes!

When we got to school, we ran into Alyssah's friend, Anna! They were both so excited!
