Shore Fishing

Jake and Josh love to go down to the lake and shore fish. They get so excited to. Bring home some fish! This day Skyla went with too!

Josh wanted to cut up the fish. I said that it was on, he has to learn sometime right? He took it seriously and was very careful with the knife.

The fillets are REALLY little but that didn't stop them from wanting to keep them. ;)

Jakes thumb

Everybody watching Josh cut up the fish.

This is what they got, they wanted to eat the fish as an appetizer. LOL

It took 5 minutes to fry it up, they really wanted it though!!

The happy eaters!!

Sleep Over

She's so cute!

When Mark went on his fishing trip, Alyssah and I did a sleepover. Only she was they only one to sleep. She didn't get the memo about no kicking mom. I felt like I didn't sleep at all, but she was IN HEAVEN!! I am glad she had fun!

What a wonderful boy you are!  I am so proud to have you as my son!  You are so into hunting and fishing, just like your Uncle Brian is!  You look up to him a lot!  You love to hang out with Dad, and when he brings you places with him, especially to work, you LOVE it!  You take it seriously and help out like you should.  You love mac and cheese, pizza, chicken nuggets, Nutella chocolate sandwiches and your "special recipe" sandwiches, which include bread, ham or turkey, cheese, mayo and mustartd.  Not sure how that is different from what the rest of the world makes, but you call it special!  You are in 4th grade now, determinded to work hard, and I am proud of you for that.  You work at what we call Jake pace, you will not be pushed any harder that what you should be.  You will get everything done, but on your own time.  You have earned your black belt in Tae Kwan Do and you are proud of that!  You even have decided to keep going and try to get to 2nd degree!  I am proud of you for pushing though!!!  You have joined football this year, I can't wait to see you play!  I know you are proud of that as well.  I can't wait to keep watching you grow, you are so awesome and you make me SO proud!!

Peace Gardens

We went to the Peace Gardens when we were in Bottineau last, for Marks high school reunion.  We had a lot of fun!  Josh and Jake have been there, but Alyssah hadn't, and of course she thought it was beautiful!  You know, all the flowers and all!!  It was hot out, they were tired, so it was a pretty quick trip through.  But I am glad we went.  Finding things in North Dakota is a good thing! (and Canada too!)
My 3 kids!  I took this picture, they are so darn cute!

This is under the 2 towers, I thought a really good shot! (that I took)

They were willing to work with me on some pictures, but by the time this one came, they were ready to be done!

They have one foot in North Dakota (or America) and one foot in Canada :)

These pictures are backwards, there is a new layout for Blogger, and I don't like it.  I have to get used to it!  Ugh.
