I wished I knew why...

My cell phone pictures are so fuzzy on my blog. They are clear on my phone, but when I put them on here, they get fuzzy. Kinda annoying.

Spring

We walked around checking our trees a few days ago. Alyssah had fun too, the boys went to a friends house :)

The trees are getting tall! Alyssah is shorter than the tip now!

Molly is such a good girl now! She listens to us and came back when we would call her! I'm so glad!

Daddy and Alyssah checking out all the pretty buds and little flowers :)

They look cool!

Alyssah's Almost Mishap

Alyssah was a monkey and was jumping on her bed, jumped off and bumped her... Foot. She started crying right away, and of course I didn't feel too sorry for her, she wasn't supposed to be jumping! But when it started swelling up, I kinda figured she would need to have it x-rayed. The next day we had it x-rayed, and thankfully it is just sprained. But it was swollen and turning a light purple, so I am glad I took her in.
She had to wear a boot bandage for 2 days and she did really well with it!
I think she learned her lesson and hopefully won't jump off her bed anymore! :)

My relaxing day in DC

After sleeping in til 10:30, I got up and got ready for my relaxing day. I watch tv, watched tv shows on my iPad, worked on my preschool stuff I want to start and laid around. It was relaxing!

We went to a supper on capital hill, it was kinda crowded, but fun.

On our walk back we walked past the capital all lit up. It was cool!

When we got back we ordered room service and it was super good! It has been a great trip!!

Washington DC

Mark is here in DC for a US Canola Association meeting. And I could go along! I love DC, so much history here! After sleeping in, which I love, Mark was done with his meetings, and we went to lunch at Union Station. I had a crab cake sandwhich and Mark had a caesar salad with grilled chicken.

We then took the metro (like the subway) to the national mall. We didn't go to any museums because we were just here in July and we only had about 5 hours time to check everything out. But the views never get old!

We were SO EXCITED to know that the cherry blossoms were in bloom!! Yesterday (March 19th) was peak bloom! How lucky we were to have such a mild/warm winter everywhere! They were BEAUTIFUL!!

We walked by a flower library they called it, it was different flower plots. But it was pretty.

We went to the tidal basin to see all the cherry blossom trees!! This was also the 100th year since the Japanese has given the US the cherry blossom tree. Kinda cool :)

The Jefferson Memorial at the tidal basin. It was warm out too 75 and humid, but beautiful!

The trees are gorgeous! And they smell amazing too!

Some were pinker than others, I lived the pink ones!

World War 2 memorial.

I'm so glad I could come along with Mark again!
