Horrible picture experience

On Saturday a friend and I went to Sears to get Alyssah's pics taken. She was dressed so cute, and seemed so happy. We were called back in about 30 minutes late, and then we started the pics. Alyssah was so happy and we got about 4 really cute pics of her. Then we changed the background and she wanted no more of it. She cried and fussed and wouldn't do it. Typical 2 year old. The stupid photographer wouldn't try anything. Bethany and I were trying a bunch of stuff to get the dumb lady to take some pics. She kept coming up with some excuses like "she's not standing still, the pics will be blurry." Well I finally said, that I will just buy from what was there and that would be fine. The dumb photographer said, "well you can't, we need to have 6 different poses" I was like OK, start taking some pics. I suggested her putting a blanket over me and setting Alyssah down on my lap and taking some. We did this last time and she was fine then. The dumb photographer said, "well we need to have 6 different poses." I said well we will forget it then, and I will just take her to another Sears another day. So we walked out of there, after being there for an hour and a half with nothing. I was so upset, and I am going to complain to Sears Portrait Studios. I have always been able to buy what was there, and Saturday I couldn't. Whatever. I wasn't happy at all.

Pretend Play

Alyssah has been pretend playing for a few weeks now. It is so cute too. I love that she can occupy herself for a while, and not need someone, me, around her at all times. The other day she was feeding Dora and she figured out that she can set her at the table and get her some food. It was so adorable!!

I just love how she plays, sometimes she will sing, and talk and other times she just talks. She always has a phone near her, so she can make important phone calls of course. The boys never played like this, they always had to have somebody with them, to help them get started, so it is so fun to watch her pretend play.

Cute things that my kids say

About a month ago, Alyssah was helping herself to my french fries, and she dips it in the ketchup, and says "I love it!" I cracked up! So funny, so I thought of a few other things my kids said or say.

One of my favorite things that Josh said when he was little, foney fee. We have no clue where this word came from, or what it ment, but he did. He would use it in phrases, he would say a whole sentence, like, "This paper is purple and goes to foney fee." We would just laugh at that and ask him what it was. We would never get an answer to it. One time Josh was proud of what he had said and done, I said that he was so cute, and he responds with "Yes I are!!" I love it!! He also says skabetty for Spaghetti. I LOVE this one the most. He still says it too. So cute!!

Jake would say "in case in if" Like, "I need to keep this, in case in if, we need it later." I loved that one!! He still says Samwiches for sandwiches. He would call his Uncle Brian, Brinan.

Alyssah says so many cute things, I take care of a little guy named Grady, and she calls him Gravy. Any word that ends in a-n-y she will say it tripple. For example, she calls my best friend Bethany, Bethananany. And vitamin is vitamininin.

I am sure there are so many more, but these are what I can think of. Enjoy!!

Damn it

This is what Alyssah will say when something doesn't go right for her. Today her sippy cup and hands were both slippery and she dropped her cup. Yep, you guessed it, she says damn it. Now I of course have NO CLUE where she would ever get this word group. I turned my head and laughed at it. I just love that a two year old knows where to put this word phrase at, how to use it. Now I have to work on her not saying that bad word phrase. Bad mommy.

Some pictures

I am putting up a pic of each of the kids. I can't believe that Josh is 8 now, Jake is going on 6 and that my little baby is 2! So hard to believe how fast time goes.

They are being stinkers tonight, fighting and yelling, of course I am keeping my cool, and not yelling back at all. ;) I definately look forward to bedtime by this time at night. (7:30pm)

But the kids are sweet none the less. I love there hugs at night when they go to bed, and after there prayers I love the I love you's too.

Alyssah is in the bath, and then in 45 minutes or so, it will be like a little piece of heaven here!

Lazy Sunday

I took a nap and enjoyed it soooo much. I was crabby, so hopefully that will help. We went to church today, Alyssah wasn't very good. She was really naughty actually. But I think she was tired too.

We need rain so bad. I don't want it in our yard, it will make it all muddy. But the poor farmers around here are dying for rain. And there have been so many wild fires too. I hope none head this way. Plus it is so windy out right now, not good.

I figured out how to put up pics, so maybe later tonight or tomorrow I will put up some pics of the kids.

My baby is two!!

I can't believe my Alyssah is two now. Where has the time gone?? I wished I knew how to put pictures on here, I would put her newborn, her one year one, and todays. She is so cute today, in a spring outfit, (it is 70 today) I So love her! I am soooo lucky to have her in my life! I so badly wanted a girl and I am so lucky that I got her. Now don't get me wrong, I completely and totally love my boys, Josh and Jake too. They are awesome and I couldn't imagine my life without them at all. But, they are into bugs, fishing, hanging out with dad, fixing and all other boy things, and I so badly wanted a girl to do some fun girly stuff with and that is why I feel so blessed to have her!!

My first time Blogging!!

This is new to me, I have been reading blogs for a few months and have wanted to try it, so now I have! I hope to find pics and adventually have family and friends read this, but for now I think I will keep it private.
