New York, day three, 2-5-11

Today was the day we went to The American Nation Museum of History. It was raining and snowing out, so it was perfect to go there! There are 4 levels to go on, so it was really busy and a lot of fun! We liked it a lot! We do agree though, that the museum we have in Bismarck is just as nice, if not nicer though ;)

The outside of the museum

The dinosaurs inside.

These animals were so real looking!

The african history was really interesting to look at.

I can't remember if this is a copy of the first Koran, or the real thing. Which ever it was, it was really old!

Some of the first bibles. They were written in hebrew we believe.

The asian history was really interesting as well.

I really liked the ocean life part of the museum too.

A replica of a blue whale

This tree trunk was so old!! It was huge!!

When it began growing.

And cut down in 1891. Very old and very big!

The human part of the museum

Different skulls they had through the years. Or what they call evolution.

We really liked the dinosaur part of the museum too. All of it was really interesting.

We then saw the last part of the museum. I can't remember what part it was. Possibly indians of some sort.

Losts of masks!

Love this guy!

And us! :)

We decided last minute to get tickets to go see Wicked. I am so glad we did, it was an amazing show!

Inside the theater

Us again :)

It about the witches of the Wizard of Oz. It was told from there point of view. Very good! I am glad we went! Today was a great day!

We ate at a cute little diner after we were done. I am glad we did! It was really good! It was owned by a small business man, and he had very nice employees!

I got Chicken parmassian, and Mark got, philly steak and cheese. Both were great!
