Orlando Day Four, Universal Studios

Today we went to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure. It was OK. I am glad we did it, but I probably won't do it again. But it was so cold out! The high was only 42 this day and back in Norht Dakota it was 25 out! So not fair! We got up and got ready to go to Universal Studios. We went on the ferry boat to go to City Walk. We walked around and went in. It cost us about $400 to get in for the 5 of us. These parks are so expensive!! After we got in we rented Alyssah a stroller and got her all bundled up with the blanket. She was excited about that. The we started walking towards Dr. Suess's landing. Alyssah was excited about it. We were cold, and Josh's back was sore. Poor kid. So we went into a store and then went on Cat in the Hat ride. The kids loved it so much that we went again. After that we went on a Carosal ride and a fish ride too. Then we went to eat at a place that wasn't very good, but we saw Cat in the hat and the Grinch there. The boys were excited about it. After that we went on towards the section of The Lost Continent. We went to the show Sinbad, it was a stunt show, and Jacob loved it! It was really cold in there it was like a wind tunnel. After that we went on to the Jurassic Park section. The kids and Mark went on one ride, and they loved it. The it was onto Toon Lagoon, old time, comic strip cartoons. The kids had no idea who any of the cartoons were, so it wasn't very popular. It was so cold out that we didn't go on any water rides that they had. The last part of the park was the super hero part. We went on the Spiderman 3D ride. Mark, Josh and I loved it, but Jake and Alyssah didn't really like it. So after that we walked back to the hotel. We had to get ready for supper with Marks work. We had a buffet with a ton of different food on it. Josh didn't hardly eat anything. Crazy boy!! He was so excited about his new hat that he bought. The kids were pretty good until they saw Devon there, then they all got a little wild. But they had fun anyways. Josh said he was excited that tomorrow was a rest day. And I am too!

The plane in the water again. It looked so nice out, but it was windy and cold.

Alyssah wanted her picture taken, and I couldn't refuse, she is one of my favorite subjects to photograph!

Universal Studios

Alyssah again

On our way to Adventure Island!

A bridge we go over to get to the park, and one we go under when we are on the ferry to City Walk. It was such a nice view.

The ticke prices. So crazy!

Inside the park, in the buildings are shops.

Got Alyssah a stroller and she is all bundled up. She loved it! Mark and I joked she was first class all the way!!

More buildings and shops.

All bundled up!

Alyssah was excited about it.

It wasn't busy there, we got on every ride within 5 minutes.

This was a popular ride, the kids loved it!

Alyssah on the ride! She loved it, she would say Wooooo, woooooo, everytime it turned or spinned, she is so cute!

Jake, Alyssah and I went on the Carolsal. They loved it, I just stood there.

On the Red fish, Blue fish ride. The kids liked it, you controlled if you went up or down, Alyssah loved it! She controlled it all herself.

Alyssah, the boys and I on the ride.

This is where we ate, and it wasn't very good, we paid a lot for it too. So not worth it.

The Cat in the Hat
Alyssah wouldn't get out of her cozy stroller to take a pic with him.

The Lost Continent

The buildings are really cool.

At the Sinbad stunt show. Jake loved it, he was laughing really hard.

The whole set, it was pretty neat.

The park on the other side.

The Jurassic part of the park

Josh and Jake on a flying ride. They loved it!

Alyssah and Mark on the ride, she loved it too!

An eating place at Toon Lagoon. Jake said "That is one big cheeseburger!"

Betty Boop

It was colorful there.

On to the Marvel Hero part

The Spiderman 3D ride

The new Harry Potter part, coming in the spring. I wonder if it will be any good?

The cool light house statue

We were done with the park, and heading back to the ferry boat dock, and these basket balls were cool. They are the real imprints of basket ball players, and they have HUGE hands!! So cool!

I love the blue sky, even if it is cold out!

Josh bought his new had, he loves it!

Josh waiting for the ferry

Jake was impatient, as usual.

Alyssah tired, and kinda cranky, but she faired pretty well through out the day.
I am looking forward to our break day tomorrow!
